A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

Happy Holidays!  Today I'm sharing a few of my favorite things from 2022.  While I'm certain I've forgotten something, I hope this random list gives you a little gift inspo for the holiday season!  In no particular order (links included):

This cozy, soft wrap feels like you're snuggled in a blanket. Need I say more? I wear it at home with pj's or throw it over a t-shirt with jeans. This cardigan wrap meets cozy blanket works in all the ways and is perfection in this cold weather!

You guys, this book!  It's my favorite read of 2022.  Humbled and encouraged, this parenting book changed the way I think about parenting and how I communicate with my kids.  On the heels of the most challenging year in parenting thus far, it felt like a life raft for me.  The tools and dialogue scripts are tangible and applicable right away. Learning about the Parallel Process helped expose my own parenting patterns and changed the way I communicate forever.  This book has the potential to impact any relationship in your life, I can't recommend it enough (especially for parents!).

Puzzle people, this board is a game changer.  I often hesitate starting a puzzle on vacation because of the likelihood I won't finish.  No more puzzle procrastination my friends, secure and easy to fold up and go, this board is the bomb! Pretty sure Matt loves having our coffee table back too! 😜

Take your Zoom class to a whole new level with this fancy pants live streaming video production studio app. So far, I've utilized a tiny percent of what this app is capable of doing.  Screen sharing, virtual camera, video playback, effects, overlays, it's insane!  If you teach virtually or live stream, you'll especially love it.

I'm obsessed.  I first got hooked while living in Portland this Fall and was happy to learn we have a studio here locally in Eugene.  It's Pilates and strength training, sprinkled with a bit of cardio.  A much welcomed addition, the lower impact movement feels so good on this mid forties bod.  Highly recommend!

Who knew one little light could make me so happy? 😂  It's super portable, comes with various lighting options, has a secure and easy to use clamp, and is super affordable. Applying makeup and reading in bed never felt so good! This is a stocking stuffer score all the way.

SO good.  Brené tackles the difficult topic of emotions and delivers beautifully.  Her gift of teaching through the art of storytelling makes this series easily digestible and entertaining. Why aren't they teaching this stuff in school? It's gold.  Grab your notebook, you'll want to take notes!

This company came into my life in perfect timing for the holidays (thank you Tami). Organic grapes, no added sugar or extra garbage, as clean as wine can be. Super yummy and a great gift idea (one for you and one for them)!

These are a dream.  So super soft and cozy you won't want to share.  I bought a few of these for gifts and I'm struggling to part with them they are so yummy.  The best part, you can often find them on sale at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack.  One can never have too many blankets, right?

Ok, these are legit.  I don't mess around with dessert and I have to tell you these are the closest to “made from scratch” cookies you can get.  They are super easy (just add eggs, butter and peanut butter) and SO delicious.  For a quick and delicious dessert, boom--cookie magic.  I've found them at Whole Foods and Fred Meyer.

Well that was fun!  Wishing you peace and presence as you navigate the holiday season. As always, stay open, brave, and on-purpose.
